Antoine Edde and George Salloum have been friends and business partners for over a decade. Both have a passion for technology and a drive to succeed, which led them to co-found I-Stay at a time when Lebanon’s economy started hitting rock bottom. Antoine has a background in computer engineering and has worked in various IT roles throughout his career. George, on the other hand, has a background in business and management, and has extensive experience in the ICT industry. Together, they bring a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to i-stay.
The two entrepreneurs shared a common vision of putting Lebanon on the ICT map and providing job opportunities for Lebanese citizens amidst the economic crisis. They joined forces to make this dream a reality with i-stay. They knew that by providing a perfect work environment with all resources being operational regardless of the country’s infrastructure, they could help stop the brain drain happening in Lebanon because of its economic crisis, and also provide good jobs for the citizens.
